In all the games, he is a space marine working for the Union Aerospace Corporation (UAC), who never speaks and is by no means referred to by name.

In the Doom novels, the main quality is referred to as Flynn Fly Taggart, which is universally suggested to be the Doomguy from the games. However, Tom Hall's original design draft, also known as Doom Bible, recommended his name was Buddy Dacote. In the Doom film revision, the main character, John Reaper Grimm is also suggested to be the Doomguy. This is a twist because the audience likely expects Sarge to acquire that role.
All of the computer-game renditions of the Doomguy dress in green armour. These students run day camps as well overnight, and sports camps. Counselors also act as lifeguards for the children of military personnel stationed on bases.

Camp Adventure was founded at the University of Oregon in 1985. At its inception, the program sent 12 students to three sites in Korea. In 1997, it sent something like 600 students to 118 program sites in 16 countries, including United Kingdom, Turkey, Russia, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Bahrain, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, and People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, and the United States. The camp counselors are trained in games and first aid, as well as how to deal with the problems that several military children have due to the isolation, frequent moves, and dangerous profession of their parents.

The counselors train for several months at the University of Northern Iowa and other Universities across the nation. They are then sent to the destination for the summer. Students are responsible for their own passport and visas, but the program provides transportation, room, and board. An extensive background check is performed on all counselor applicants. Although the program is based at the University of Northern Iowa, Camp Adventure Youth Services students come from over 80 colleges and universities contribute in this service-learning program that allows them to gain skills and occurrence related to youth services and program management.

Cattle

Cattle, colloquially referred to as cows, are disciplined ungulates, a member of the subfamily Bovina of the family Bovidae. They are raised as livestock for meat dairy products (milk), leather and as draught animals. In some countries, such as India, they are honored in religious ceremonies and revered. It is expected that there are 1.4 billion head of cattle in the world today.

Cattle were originally known by Carolus Linnaeus as three separate species. These were Bos taurus, the European cattle, including similar types from Africa and Asia, Bos indicus, the zebu, and the extinct Bos primigenius, the aurochs. The aurochs is ancestral to together zebu and European cattle. More newly these three have increasingly been grouped as one species, sometimes using the names Bos primigenius taurus, Bos primigenius indicus and Bos primigenius. Complicating the matter is the capacity of cattle to interbreed with other closely related species. Hybrid individuals and even breeds exist, not only between European cattle and zebu but also with yaks, banteng, gaur, and bison, a cross-genera fusion. Cattle cannot effectively be bred with water buffalo or African buffalo.

Tiger

The tiger is a mammal of the Felidae family, one of four large cats in the Panther a genus. Native to the mainland of southeastern Asia, the tiger is an apex predator and the largest feline species in the world, similar in size to the biggest fossil felids. The Bengal Tiger is the most general subspecies of tiger, constituting approximately 80% of the entire tiger population, and is found in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, and Nepal. An endangered species, the popular of the world's tigers now live in captivity.

The tiger is introverted and territorial, preferring cover in deep forest, but also ranging in open areas. The cat hunts by stalk-and-ambush and may take a variety of mid- and large-sized prey, particularly ungulates. Males are much larger than females and have bigger home ranges. The first devices that resemble modern computers date to the mid-20th century, although the computer concept and various machines similar to computers existed prior. Early electronic computers were the size of a large room, consuming as much power as several hundred modern personal computers. Modern computers are based on comparatively tiny integrated circuits and are millions to billions of times more capable while occupying a fraction of the space. Today, simple computers may be made small enough to fit into a wrist watch and be powered from a watch battery. Personal computers in various forms are icons of the information age and are what most people think of as "a computer". However, the most common form of computer in use today is by far the embedded computer. Embedded computers are small, simple devices that are often used to control other devices-for example, they may be found in machines ranging from fighter aircraft to industrial robots, digital cameras, and even children's toys.

The ability to store and execute lists of instructions called programs makes computers extremely versatile and distinguishes them from calculators. The Church-Turing thesis is a mathematical statement of this versatility: Any computer with a certain minimum capability is, in principle, capable of performing the same tasks that any other computer can perform. Therefore, computers with capability and complexity ranging from that of a personal digital assistant to a supercomputer are all able to perform the same computational tasks given enough time and storage capacity.

Polyester

Polyester is the most widely used manufactured fiber in the United States. Natural fiber polyester fabrics are used for attire and home furnishings. These include bed sheets, bedspreads, curtains and draperies. Polyester fiberfill is also used to substance pillows, comforters and cushion stuffing.

Polyester fabrics sometimes have a "less natural" feel when compared to correspondingly woven fabrics made from ordinary fibers, e.g., cotton. However, polyester fabrics may demonstrate other advantages over natural fabrics, e.g., improved wrinkle confrontation. As a result, polyester fibers are often spun mutually with natural fibers, e.g., cotton, to create a cloth with blended properties.

Polyesters are also used to make bottles, films, oilcloth, liquid crystal displays, holograms, filters, dielectric film for capacitors, film insulation for wire and insulating tapes. Liquid crystalline polyesters are among the first scientifically used liquid crystalline polymers. In general they have extremely good perfunctory properties and are exceptionally heat defiant. For that reason, they can be used as an abradable seal in jet engines.

Thermosetting polyester resins are normally copolymers of unsaturated polyesters with styrene. The unsaturation in the polyester is generally governed by maleic acid or fumaric acid. Another important family is the group of vinyl esters. Here the unsaturation is found in the alcohol part of the polyester. The double bond of the unsaturated polyester reacts with styrene resulting in a 3-D crosslinked structure, the thermoset fabric. The cross-linking is initiated through an exothermic reaction involving an organic peroxide, such as methyl ethyl ketone peroxide or benzoyl peroxide. Unsaturated polyesters are commonly used as casting materials, fiberglass laminating resins, and non-metallic auto-body fillers. Fiberglass reinforced unsaturated polyesters find wide application in bodies of yachts and as body parts of cars.

Race

The historical definition of race was an unassailable and distinct type or species, sharing distinct cultural characteristics such as creation, temperament, and mental abilities. These races were not conceived as being related with each other, but formed a ladder of inherent value called the Great Chain of Being with Europeans usually at the top. As time progressed, Darwin's theory of evolution was applied to races. By this time, anthropologists considered humans to be related to each other. The word "race," interpreted to mean common tumble, was introduced into English in about 1580, from the Old French rasse (1512), from Italian razza, which may have been derived from the Latin word generatio (a begetting). The etymology can be further traced back to Latin gens (clan, stock, people) and genus (birth, descent, origin, race, stock, family) which in turn comes from the Greek γένος (race, stock, or family).

This late cause for the English and French terms is regular with the thesis that the concept of "race" as defining a very small number of groups of human beings based on extraction dates from the time of Columbus. Older concepts that were also at least partly based on common dive, such as nation and people, entail a much larger number of groupings.

Rain Water

Lessening raindrops are often depicted in popular culture as "teardrop-shaped" — round at the bottom and narrowing towards the top — but this is untrue. Only drops of water dripping from some sources are tear-shaped at the moment of creation. Small raindrops are nearly globular. Larger ones become increasingly flattened on the bottom, like hamburger buns; very large ones are shaped like parachutes. The shape of raindrops was studied by Philipp Lenard in 1898. He found that small raindrops (less than about 2 mm diameter) are approximately spherical.

As they get larger (to about 5 mm diameter) they become more doughnut shaped. Beyond about 5 mm they become unsteady and fragment. On average, raindrops are 1 to 2 mm in breadth. The biggest raindrops on Earth were recorded over Brazil and the Marshall Islands in 2004 — some of them were as large as 10 mm. The large size is explained by concentration on large smoke particles or by collisions between drops in small regions with particularly high pleased of liquor water.

Raindrops impact at their terminal velocity, which is greater for larger drops. At sea level and without wind, 0.5 mm trickle impacts at about 2 m/s, while large 5 mm drops impact at around 9 m/s. The sound of raindrops hitting water is caused by bubbles of air oscillating underwater.

Generally, rain has a pH slightly under 6. This is because special carbon dioxide dissolves in the dewdrop to form minute quantities of carbonic acid, which then partially dissociates, lowering the pH. In some desert areas, airborne dust contains enough calcium carbonate to counter the natural acidity of rainfall, and rainfall can be neutral or even alkaline. Rain below pH 5.6 is considered acid rain.

Plastic

Plastic can be classified in many ways, but most generally by their polymer backbone. Other classifications include thermoplastic, thermoset, elastomer, engineering plastic, addition or compression or polyaddition, and glass transition temperature.

Some plastics are partly crystalline and partially amorphous in molecular composition, giving them both a melting point and one or more glass transitions (temperatures above which the extent of localized molecular is considerably increased). So-called semi-crystalline plastics include polyethylene, polypropylene, poly (vinyl chloride), polyamides (nylons), polyesters and some polyurethanes. Many plastics are entirely amorphous, such as polystyrene and its copolymers, poly (methyl methacrylate), and all thermosets.

Plastics are polymers: long chains of atoms bonded to one another. Common thermoplastics range from 20,000 to 500,000 in molecular weight, while thermosets are tacit to have infinite molecular weight. These chains are made up of many repeating molecular units, known as "repeat units", derived from "monomers"; each polymer chain will have several 1000's of repeat units. The vast majority of plastics are composed of polymers of carbon and hydrogen alone or with oxygen, nitrogen, chlorine or sulfur in the backbone. The backbone is that part of the chain on the main "path" linking a large number of repeat units together. To vary the properties of plastics, both the repeat unit with different molecular groups "hanging" or "pendant" from the backbone, (usually they are "hung" as part of the monomers before linking monomers together to form the polymer chain). This customization by repeat unit's molecular structure has allowed plastics to become such an essential part of twenty first-century life by fine tuning the properties of the polymer.

Media

Media bias is a term used to describe a real or supposed bias of newspapers and news producers within the mass media, in the selection of which events will be reported and how they are covered. The term "media bias" usually refers to a invasive or widespread bias contravening the standards of newspaper journalism, rather than the perception of an individual journalist or article. The direction and degree of media bias in various countries is extensively disputed, although its causes are both practical and theoretical.

Practical limitations to media objectivity include the inability of journalists to report all available stories and facts, and the requirement that selected facts be linked into a coherent tale (Newton 1989). Since it is impossible to report everything, some bias is inevitable. Government persuade, including overt and covert censorship, biases the media in some countries. Market forces that can result in a biased presentation include the ownership of the news source, the selection of staff, the preferences of an intended audience, or pressure from advertisers. Political affiliations arise from ideological positions of media owners and journalists. The space or air time available for reports, as well as deadlines needed to be met, can lead to incomplete and it sounds as if biased stories.

power

Power is the rate at which work is performed or energy is transmitted or the amount of energy essential or finished for a given unit of time. Laptops usually have liquid crystal displays and most of them use unusual memory modules for their chance access memory (RAM), for instance, SO-DIMM in lieu of the superior DIMMs. In addition to a built-in keyboard, they may utilize a touchpad or a pointing stick for input, though an outside keyboard or mouse can frequently be attached.

Music

Music is an art form consisting of sound and silence expressed through time. Elements of sound as used in music are pitch, rhythm and sonic qualities of timbre, articulation, dynamics, and texture.

The creation, performance, significance and even the definition of music, varies according to culture and social context. Music ranges from strictly organized compositions and performances to improvisational or aleatoric forms. For purposes of discussion and exploration of the topic, music is divided into genres and sub-genres, although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often unclear and/or controversial. Within "the arts", music can be classified as a performing art, a fine art, or an auditory art form.

Music may also involve generative forms in time through the construction of patterns and combinations of natural stimuli, principally sound. Music may be used for artistic or aesthetic, communicative, entertainment, ceremonial or religious purposes and by many composers purely as an academic instrument for study.

Banana

Banana is the common name used for herbaceous foliage of the genus Mesa, and is also the name given to the fruit of these plants. They are resident to the tropical region of Southeast Asia, the Malay Archipelago, and Australia. They are cultivated primarily for their fruit, and to a lesser level for the production of fiber and as ornamental plants. Because of their size and structure, banana plants are often wrong for trees. The main or upright growth is called a pseudo stem, which for some species can gain a height of up to 2–8 m, with leaves of up to 3.5 m in length. Each pseudo stem produces a single group of bananas, before dying and being replaced by a new pseudo stem.

Bananas are grown in 132 countries worldwide, additional than any other fruit crop. In popular culture and commerce, banana usually refers to soft, sweet dessert bananas that are usually eaten raw. The bananas from a collection of cultivars with firmer, starchier fruit are generally used in cooking rather than eaten raw. Bananas may also be dried up and ground into banana flour. Although the wild species have fruits with numerous large, hard seeds, virtually all culinary bananas have unplanted fruits. Bananas are classified any as dessert bananas or as green cooking bananas.

Propeller aircraft

Smaller and older propeller aircraft make use of reciprocating internal combustion engines that turns a propeller to create force. They are quieter than jet aircraft, but they fly at lower speeds, and have lower load capacity compared to similar sized jet powered aircraft. However, they are considerably cheaper and much more cost-effective than jets, and are usually the best option for people who need to transport a few passengers and/or small amounts of cargo. They are also the aircraft of choice for pilots who wish to own an aircraft.

Turboprop aircraft are a intermediate point between propeller and jet: they use a turbine engine similar to a jet to turn propellers. Biotechnology means any technological application that uses biological systems, living organisms, or derivatives thereof, to construct or change products or processes for specific use. Biotechnology combines disciplines like genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, embryology and cell biology, which are in turn allied to practical disciplines like chemical engineering, information technology, and robotics.Biotechnology can also be defined as the exploitation of organisms to do practical things and to provide useful products.

One characteristic of biotechnology is the directed use of organisms for the manufacture of organic products (examples include beer and milk products). For another example, naturally present bacteria are utilized by the mining industry in bioleaching. Cloud electrification appears to necessitate strong updrafts which hold water droplets upward, supercooling them to -10 to -20 C. These have a collision with ice crystals to form a soft ice-water mixture called graupel. The collisions result in a slight positive charge being transferred to ice crystals, and a slight negative charge to the graupel. Updrafts drive lighter ice crystals upwards, causing the cloud top to accumulate increasing positive charge. The heavier negatively charged graupel falls towards the middle and lower portions of the cloud, building up an increasing negative charge. Charge separation and accumulation continue until the electrical potential becomes sufficient to initiate lightning discharges, which occurs when the gathering of positive and negative charges forms a adequately strong electric field.

Elephant

The African and Asian elephants are separate classes. The SI unit of electrical resistance is the ohm. Its reciprocal quantity is electrical conductance calculated in siemens. Electrical resistance shares some conceptual parallels with the mechanical notion of friction.
The resistance of an object determines the amount of current through the object for a known voltage across the object I=V/R, where R is the resistance of the object, measured in ohms, equivalent to J•s/C2, V is the voltage across the object, measured in volts, I is the current through the object, measured in amperes. It is evolved from indoor volleyball, and the two sports remain very similar: a team scores points by foundation the ball on the opponents' court, or when the opposing team commits a fault teams can contact the ball no more than three times before the ball crosses the net; and consecutive contacts must be made by unlike players. The most important differences between beach and indoor volleyball are the playing surface, and the team size. There are many minor differences as well, including each half of the court actions 8 by 8 meters.
If a jamming player touches the ball, but it continues onto his side of the net, the block counts as the first contact. Open-hand dinks, where a player uses his or her finger tips to redirect the ball into the opponent's court, are banned. Nodes are the individual actors within the networks, and ties are the associations between the actors. Research in a number of academic fields has shown that social networks operate on many levels, from families up to the level of nations, and play a serious role in determining the way problems are solved, organizations are run, and the degree to which individuals succeed in achieving their goals.
In its simplest form, a social network is a map of all of the appropriate ties between the nodes being studied. The network can also be used to decide the social capital of individual actors. These concepts are often displayed in a shared network diagram, where nodes are the points and ties are the lines.

Toy

A Toy is an item used in play. Toys are usually related with children and pets, but it is not unusual for adult humans and some non-domesticated animals to play with toys. Many items are manufactured to serve as toys, but items shaped for other purpose can also be used as toys. A child may pick up a domestic item and 'fly' it around pretending that it is an airplane, or an animal might play with a pinecone by batting at it, chasing it, and throwing it up in the air. Some toys are intended largely as collector's items and are not to be played with. The origin of toys is prehistoric; dolls representing infants, animals, and soldiers, as well as representations of tools used by adults are pleasure found at archaeological sites. The origin of the word toy is unknown, but it is understood that it was first used in the 14th century.

Toys and play in general are an important part of the method of learning about the world and growing up. The young use toys and play to discover their identity, help their bodies grow tough, learn cause and effect, explore relationships, and practice skills they will need as adults. Adults use toys and play to form and strengthen social bonds, teach the young, memorize and reinforce lessons from their own youth, exercise their minds and bodies, practice skills they may not use every day, and decorate their living spaces. Toys are more than simple amusement, and they and the way they are used greatly influence most aspects of life.

Solar wind

The solar wind is a stream of charged particles which are expelled from the upper atmosphere of the sun. It consists mostly of high-energy electrons and protons that are able to get away the sun's gravity in part because of the high temperature of the corona and the high kinetic energy particles gain through a process that is not well understood at this time.

They are directly related to the solar wind, together with geomagnetic storms that can knock out power grids on Earth, auroras and the plasma tail of a comet always pointing away from the sun. While early models of the solar wind used primarily thermal energy to accelerate the material, by the 1960s it was clear that thermal hurrying alone cannot account for the high speed solar wind. Some additional acceleration mechanism is required, but is not presently known, but most likely relates to magnetic fields in the solar atmosphere. The solar wind is answerable for the overall shape of Earth's magnetosphere, and fluctuations in its speed, density, direction, and entrained magnetic field powerfully affect Earth's local space environment.

Capacitance

Capacitance is a measure of the quantity of electric charge stored for a given electric potential. The most general form of charge storage device is a two-plate capacitor. If the charges on the plates are +Q and -Q, and V gives the voltage difference between the plates, then the capacitance is given by c=Q/v. The capacitance of the majority of capacitors used in electronic circuits is several orders of size smaller than the farad. The most ordinary units of capacitance in use today are the millifarad (mF), microfarad (µF), the nanofarad (nF) and the picofarad (pF).

The dielectric constant for a number of very useful dielectrics changes as a function of the applied electrical field, e.g. ferroelectric materials, so the capacitance for these devices is no longer purely a purpose of device geometry. If a capacitor is driven with a sinusoidal voltage, the dielectric constant, or more exactly referred to as the dielectric permittivity, is a function of frequency. A changing dielectric constant with frequency is referred to as a dielectric dispersion, and is governed by dielectric recreation processes, such as Debye relaxation.

Safety

Safety is the state of being safe, the situation of being protected against physical, social, spiritual, financial, political, emotional, occupational, psychological, educational or additional types or consequences of failure, damage, error, accidents, harm or any other event which could be considered non-desirable. A high-intensity pencil beam will break in the fog; main headlights are less directional and where the returned noise dominates. Similarly, to overcome reverberation, an active sonar requests to transmit in a narrow beam.

The Foreign Exchange Market

The foreign exchange market will exists wherever one currency is traded for another currency in the particular country. It is by far the largest market in the world, in terms of cash value traded, and includes trading between large banks, central banks, currency speculators, multinational corporations, governments, and other financial markets and institutions. Retail traders are a small part of this market. They may only participate indirectly through brokers or banks and may be targets of forex scams.

There is no single unified foreign exchange market. Due to the over-the-counter (OTC) nature of currency markets, there are rather a number of interconnected marketplaces, where different currency instruments are traded. This implies that there is no such thing as a single dollar rate rather than a number of different rates , depending upon what bank or market maker is trading. In practice the rates are often very close, otherwise they could be exploited by arbitrageurs. The interbank market for both the majority of commercial turnover and large amounts of speculative trading every day. A large bank may trade billions of dollars daily. Some of this trading is undertaken on behalf of customers, but much is conducted by proprietary desks, trading for the bank's own account.

Bond

In finance, a bond is a debt security, in which the issuer owes the holders a debt and is gratified to repay the principal and interest at a later date, termed maturity. Other provisions may also be attached to the bond issue, such as the obligation for the issuer to offer certain information to the bond holder, or limitations on the behavior of the issuer. Bonds are generally issued for a fixed term longer than ten years. U.S Treasury securities issued debt with life of ten years or more is a bond. New debt between one year and ten years is a note, and new debt less than a year is a bill.

A bond is simply a loan, but in the form of a security, although terminology used is rather different. The issuer is equivalent to the borrower, the bond holder to the lender, and the coupon to the interest. Bonds enable the issuer to finance long-term investments with external funds. Debt securities with a maturity shorter than one year are typically bills. Certificates of deposit or commercial paper are measured money market instruments.
